Privacy Policy

BestBeautyClinics.com is operated by ADPLUS MEDIA INC., A425 20020 84 Avenue, Langley, BC, Canada V2Y 5K9. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who receives it, and the rights you have under applicable US state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in other states). The person accountable for our privacy practices can be reached at support@bestbeautyclinics.com, through our contact page, and at the address above.

What we collect, and why

  • Consultation requests: when you submit a request form we collect your name, your phone number and/or email address, the treatment and city you chose, any message you write, and the page you submitted from; we also store a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your IP address for spam and abuse prevention — not your raw IP address. We collect this for one purpose: to route your request to a clinic that can offer the consultation, and to let that clinic contact you. Because a request concerns a health-related service, we treat it as sensitive/consumer-health information and collect it only with your express consent.
  • Reviews: if you submit a review, we collect your name (as you provide it), your rating, and your review text, to display the review after moderation. Reviews are published with your first name only.
  • Profile claims: when a clinic representative claims a profile, we collect their name, work email and phone number — used only to review the claim and contact the clinic about it.
  • Clinic accounts: when a clinic claims or manages a profile, we collect the account holder's name and login email, lead-delivery contact details the clinic sets (email and mobile number for request delivery), profile content the clinic adds or edits (descriptions, prices, photos), and billing records for paid services.
  • Messages you send us: if you contact us — through the contact form or by email — we collect your name, your email address, and the contents of your message, so we can respond to you and keep a record of what was asked and done.
  • Basic usage data: standard server logs (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) used to operate and improve the directory.

We do not collect medical records, health histories, diagnoses, or payment-card details from patients. Clinics handle treatment and payment directly under their own policies; card payments for clinic services are processed by Stripe — card details are not stored by us.

Consent

Consultation requests are collected only with your express consent, captured by the consent checkbox on the request form at the moment you submit it — no consent, no request, and your information is not shared with any clinic. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at support@bestbeautyclinics.com; if a request has not yet been delivered we will stop it, and if it has, we will ask the receiving clinic to delete your details and stop contacting you.

Who receives your information — and "sale/share" disclosure

  • A consultation request is disclosed only to the clinic it is routed to — one clinic for your chosen treatment and city. If that clinic does not accept in time, the request may be passed to one backup clinic in the same city under the same consent — one clinic at a time, never a list.
  • Some clinics pay us a fee when a consultation request is delivered to them. Under California law, disclosing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration can be a "sale" or "sharing" even when it happens only with your consent and only to one business. We therefore disclose this plainly: consultation requests shared with a clinic under your express consent may constitute a "sale/share" under the CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not sell mailing lists, and we do not share information with data brokers.
  • Your opt-out right: you can opt out of any sale/share at any time — simply do not submit a consultation request, or withdraw consent / ask us to delete your information at support@bestbeautyclinics.com or via the contact page, and we will honour the request and ask any clinic that received your request to delete it too. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where they apply.
  • We use service providers (hosting, email delivery, text messaging, payment processing) that process information only to provide those services to us.
  • We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety of a person.

Cookies and analytics

We do not run third-party analytics products or advertising trackers, and we set exactly one cookie: an essential, first-party sign-in cookie for clinic accounts (bc_session, 30 days, HttpOnly). Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) to operate and secure the site, and our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps block spam. We count profile views as daily totals to show clinics their listing statistics; individual view records used for de-duplication are kept for up to 90 days. You can block cookies in your browser; the directory will still work, though clinic-account sign-in may not.

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information: encrypted connections, access limited to the people and systems that need it, and account credentials stored as one-way hashes. If a breach of our security safeguards creates a risk of harm, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable state breach-notification laws, and we keep a record of every breach. No method is perfect, but we work to keep the risk low and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

How long we keep it

  • Consultation-request (lead) records are kept for 24 months from delivery, then automatically anonymized (contact details removed); the anonymized record is kept for billing history — sooner if you ask us to delete yours.
  • Reviews are kept while the clinic's profile is listed, or until the author asks for removal.
  • Contact messages are kept while your request is being handled and are deleted automatically after 24 months.
  • Clinic-account information is kept while the account is active; billing records are kept as required by applicable tax law.

Your rights: know, access, correct, delete, opt out

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale/share, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of them, write to support@bestbeautyclinics.com or use our contact page — we answer verified requests within 45 days (most within 30), free of charge in the ordinary case, and we will confirm when deletion is complete.

Emails to clinics (CAN-SPAM)

We email clinics only at business addresses they publish conspicuously on their own websites, inviting them to claim their free profile — a message relevant to the recipient's business role at that clinic. Every commercial email from us identifies ADPLUS MEDIA INC. as the sender, includes our physical mailing address (A425 20020 84 Avenue, Langley, BC, Canada V2Y 5K9) in the message itself, and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism. Opt-out requests are honoured within 10 business days, and the stop is permanent for outreach.

Where information is processed

We are a Canadian company operating a US directory. Our service providers include Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text messaging) and Stripe (payment processing), so personal information may be processed or stored in the United States or Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. The same limits on use and disclosure above apply regardless of where processing happens.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will post the updated policy here with a new "last updated" date, and we will not apply a broader use or disclosure to information already collected without first getting consent where the law requires it.
